Communicating science through science writing, teaching and public outreach is one of the mainstays of my career.

I’ve taught formal academic classes during my PhD career, but I’ve also created and taught free community classes to increase general accessibility of biological knowledge. Additionally, I run a blog dedicated to Kingdom Fungi here. I’ve written blogs, internal and externally facing scientific reports, scientific legal documents, patent applications, posters, presentations, and field guides. I’m comfortable communicating science in a wide variety of formats.
